Very interesting and diverse property with Brown Creek, a small wetland, seasonal streams, Aspen and Birch Stands, Sugar Maple, White Oak, Red Oak, Basswood, Black Cherry, Ironwood, Black Ash and Thornapple trees. In the central area, the dominant tree is Sugar Maple (valued for lumber and Maple Syrup). There are Oaks sprinkled throughout the property but especially around the perimeter and adjacent to the wetland. These are distinct and well-defined environments. It is rare to find such variety on a 44-acre woodland property. This is all very attractive to wildlife. The soil is very rich as evidenced by the diverse understory plants: Gooseberry bushes, Blackberry bushes, Raspberry bushes, nettles and other species. In much of the central area, the forest floor is covered with Sugar Maple seedlings. Oak seedlings are also present with deer browsing heavily on them. There is Frac Sand in the seasonal stream beds on the south end of the property. Core sampling is suggested.
